The staff of Azul Surf Club is very excited to announce the opening of our sister hostel, Casa de Canela. Located in the heart of El Cuco, this new property provides accommodations to budget travelers and backpackers. The hostel caters to those travelers who want to experience Playa El Cuco, but don’t have the resources for a luxury hotel.
Hostel Casa de Canela
Casa de Canela features a secure environment with dormitory style living quarters, communal kitchen and bathrooms, cable television, WiFi, billiards room and courtyard. Guests can choose from our 4 sets of bunk beds, a semi private room or fully private room. They are provided clean sheets, a comfortable mattress and soft pillow as well as a storage locker to secure valuables.
This new hostel represents the first backpacker style accommodation within the El Cuco city limits. The benefits to travelers are many. The location is just one block from the El Cuco bus stop allowing travelers to reach the hostel without need for a long hike or truck rental. Additionally, the central location offers easy access to the city’s many shops and restaurants so that they are not restricted an overpriced, onsite kitchen. Finally, beach access is literally steps away from our front door providing fun, sun and relaxation.
